Instructions for Safari are as follows :
- The entire Safari is managed by the Forest Department of Maharashtra.
- Normal Safari Portal for all zones opens 120 days prior to safari date and Tatkal Safari Portal opens 3 days prior to safari date.
- Once a Safari is booked, it cannot be cancelled or transferable.
- It is mandatory for all the adult members to carry the original Photo ID (as provided for bookings of safari permits) during safaris, as they are checked at the Forest Entry Gates.
- Mobile phones ,Ipad or any other electronic gadgets are not permitted to carry inside the forest.
- Jeeps and Forest Guides are allocated by the forest department on a roster and assigned to Safaris on a rotation-basis.
